Last updated: June 2026
This privacy policy explains how Running Dad (runningdad.uk) handles your information. The site is operated by Kev, a private individual based in the UK. This site is subject to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What data do we collect?
Practically none. This site is a static website with no user accounts, comment systems, contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, or advertising.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or profiling service.
Infrastructure: Cloudflare
This site is hosted via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect technical data — including IP addresses and request metadata — as part of serving and protecting the site. This is handled under Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare acts as a data processor on behalf of this site.
For more information, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
This site sets no first-party tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies necessary to operate the network and provide DDoS protection. These are not under our direct control and are not used to track or profile you.
We use a single piece of browser local storage to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice.
This stores only the value cookieNoticeDismissed=1 and is not transmitted to any server.
Email contact
If you contact us at kev@runningdad.uk, your email address and any information you share will be used solely to respond to your message. We do not store it in any database or share it with third parties.
External links
This site links to external websites. We have no control over their content or privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability
Given the minimal data we collect, most of these rights have limited practical application here. To exercise any right or ask a question, contact us at kev@runningdad.uk.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
